Photographer gets more than he bargained for from frisky parrot (VIDEO)

 

 

Ok, here's a bit of Friday fun for you. In this video clip from the BBC series "Last Chance to See," actor Stephen Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine travel to New Zealand to photograph one of the last remaining kakapo, which is an extremely rare, flightless parrot.

When Carwardine lies down to photograph the kakapo, the amorous bird seems to take it as a call to mate. The kakapo hops on Carwardine's head and aggressively beats him in the face with its wings.

Though it looks painful to Carwardine, it's pretty hilarious to watch.
