Think Tank Photo's newest addition to their line is an enormous, wheeled bag suitable for carting just about every piece of gear you own out to a shoot with you. The new Logistics Manager 30 is a $500 rolling gear bag, with more than 3,500 cubic inches of storage. It features an expansive inner with customizable layout; retractable handle; and plenty of security for keeping your gear safe (including a TSA approved main zipper lock).
According to Think Tank, the Logistics Manager 30 can hold:
"...multiple super telephoto lenses (up to 600 f4), multiple bodies and lenses, flash heads, power packs, monoblocks, medium size softboxes, small light stands, etc."
In other words, it's the one bag to rule them all. The Logistics Manager 30 has an internal volume of 13.75” W x 27.5” H x 8.25” – 10” D, and is 15.75” W x 30” H x 11.5” D on the outside. While the bag might not be an ideal solution for lugging your gear up the side of a mountain, it has enough storage for just about any other situation, and the rolling wheels and extendable handle should make moving the 20-pound bag around slightly more easy.
The one downside is that most airlines limit you to a 14" x 22" x 9" bag for carry-on, so this guy is going to have to go in the hold if you're flying.
The announcement of the Logistics Manager 30 comes just days after Think Tank Photo announced a very different sort of bag, the Mirrorless Mover range for carrying your small compact system camera.
