When the Canon T5i launched earlier this year, many were quick to criticize its very minimal upgrade. There are no two ways around it: in most respects, the T5i is the same camera as that which it replaced.

There's more to the story, though, which makes sense of the slight changes made. And sometimes, maintaining the status quo can be a good thing. Perhaps more importantly, its list price is now lower than that of the earlier model.

Boasting great image quality, a solid build, useful features aplenty, and that more affordable pricetag, the Canon Rebel T5i is even easier to recommend than was its mirror-image predecessor. Read our in-depth Canon T5i review to find out if it's the right camera for you!
