Here's something to do with your free time if you have a rainy weekend ahead: watch a selection of the best photography documentaries out there, all for free on YouTube.
Expert Photography has a nice round-up of its 20 favorite photography documentaries on YouTube. It's quite a bountiful list, covering everything from "Edward Weston: The Photographer" from 1948; to "Alfred Stieglitz: The Eloquent Eye" from 1999; and "Cindy Sherman - Nobody's Here But Me" from 1994.
We've embedded three documentaries below, that are among our favorites: "Half Past Autumn: The Life and Works of Gordon Park," "Colorful Mr Eggleston," and "The Many Lives of William Klein."
All of this gets us excited for a brand new photography documentary, "Finding Vivian Maier," which had its world premiere this week at the Toronto Film Festival. Looking forward to seeing that one as well!
