Here’s the first Instagram ad — what do you think?

A month ago, Instagram told us that ads were on the way. Now users of the app might have noticed that the very first of the approved advertisements has made it into their news feed — and some people aren't too happy.
The first widespread ad on the network has come from Michael Kors, and has already racked up more than 200,000 likes. But on the flip side, some of the comments on the image are obscenity peppered rants about advertising appearing on Instagram.
This is, of course, just the beginning. Instagram has been both free to use and free of ads for years, but that is now changing. About a week ago Instagram first previewed what the ads were to look like, and we've heard some of which other companies are on board. So be prepared, because Macy's, Paypal, and Levi's will doubtless start popping up on your Instagram feed, too.
We'd like to know what you think of this Michael Kors ad. Are you on board? Do you hate it? Do you think they should be forced to take all the advertising images with a smartphone? Let us know in the comments.
And remember, if you do really dislike an ad — you can always hide it by hitting the "..." button on the post.
