Remember that exciting Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DI VC USD lens we told you about a couple of weeks ago? Well, it's continuing to inch its way closer to market, with US availability expected in three weeks.
The folks over at NikonRumors just pointed out that the Tamron SP 150-600mm is now available for preorder, and that reveals the last piece of the puzzle. Until now, we only knew its Japanese-market price of ¥140,000 (US$1,360 or thereabouts, before tax.) Now, we know that it will retail in the US market for quite a bit less, with a pricetag of US$1,069 from IR affiliates Adorama and B&H Photo Video.
If that hits the sweet spot for you, then you can get your preorder in now at the links below. If you're not sold yet, watch this space -- the lens went on sale in Japan a few days ago, and we'd expect to see sample photos appearing online before too much longer.
