The IR CES 2014 Interviews: Submit your questions for the camera manufacturers!

IR's in-depth interviews with camera and lens manufacturer execs have become a hallmark of our photo industry coverage, and have proven very popular with our readers. The depth we get to in these interviews is unparalleled anywhere, on the web or off: The president of one company told me last year "The kinds of questions you ask, I always worry I'm going to give away something I shouldn't!"
As always, for CES 2014, we encourage all of you to submit questions of your own, that you'd like to have answered by the execs I'll be interviewing - just enter them in the comments area below.
This show, I'll be conducting only a handful of interviews, saving more of my questions for interviews at the CP+ show in Yokohama, Japan, in mid-February - I expect to have better access in Japan to the product planning and engineering types who usually have the best answers to the sorts of technical questions our readers are most interested in.
In the meantime, though, I'll be meeting with Japanese executives at CES from three companies, namely Sigma, Olympus, and Fujifilm. Also, while I don't plan to conduct formal interviews with them, I should have an opportunity to ask US product managers from Pentax and Samsung some questions as well.
If you have any questions about any of these manufacturers' current products or technology, this is your chance to get them answered!
KEEP IN MIND, though, that there's absolutely no point in asking what's coming next, what new models are planned, etc. For understandable reasons, such questions are never answered, so I don't bother even asking them.
Anything else is fair game, though. Depending on the specific staff I get to interview, this is often an opportunity to hear about how various technologies were developed, how products work, and sometimes to get further details about already-published product roadmaps.
So use the comments section below to ask anything you'd like to know about from the five companies named above. (And be thinking about possibly deeper questions you'd like to me to ask any of the manufacturers when I'm in Japan in February...)
