If you've just dropped the approximately $10,000 on a Leica M Typ 240, wouldn't you say it's worth spending a bit to get it a case that's appropriately stylish and protective to look after your new investment? UK manufacturer Classic Cases has just announced a set of leather cases for the Leica M Typ 240, which will set you back £175-£215 ($290-$360), all of which are hand-made in UK leather.
The cases are available in brown, black, or rich brown, and with or without a snap-up screen protector. You can also order a variant that supports the Thumbs Up grip for the camera. And, if that's not enough, you can also choose the internal lining color, and if you're feeling really fancy, even get a custom made one if there's a look in particular you want.
While these aren't cheap cases, they are hand made and hand stitched from high quality leather. And let's face it—if you're shooting a Leica, chances are affordability is low on your list of priorities. If you're going to get something as high-end as a Leica M Typ 240, it's probably worth the investment to purchase something really special to go around it, too.
