Iceland is one of these countries that we just can't get enough of. Only recently we wrote about a video taken with a drone copter in Iceland's rough yet beautiful landscapes, and now comes another film that shows off the country's breathtaking scenery. 'Crystalapse: Frozen in Timelapse' is a blend of timelapse, regular video and drone footage that takes us to various locations throughout the Viking island.

From waterfalls to ice caves, from rocky beaches to seashores covered in ice blocks, from cloud-covered plains to snow-covered mountains, from bright blue skies to spectacular views of the Aurora Borealis, the video takes us to places that look as inhospitable as they are captivating. The footage was taken by brothers Patrick and Henrick Shyu of Blue Eden over the course of two weeks during an Iceland trip this month.

Their work has previously been featured, among others, by National Geographic, at Sundance Film Festival, and on SKY, and it isn't hard to see why. 'Crystalapse: Frozen in Timelapse' is not only full of mesmerizing footage, it is also very well filmed and edited and manages to truly captivate the viewer. And when you make it until the end (of which we are certain you will,) be prepeared for a special surprise.
