It must be update day today: No sooner has Adobe released its new versions of Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw, DNG Converter and Lightroom with new camera support than Phase One does the same. The just-released Capture One 8.0.2 release brings compatibility with the latest Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite operating system, as well as support for eight new cameras and four lenses. The update also squashes a long list of bugs and compatibility issues.

Cameras newly-supported by Phase One Capture One 8.0.2 include the Canon 7D Mark II, Leica C (Typ 112), Leica T (Typ 701), Nikon D750, Nikon D3300, Nikon P340, Panasonic GM1 and Samsung NX30. Support for the Nikon D810 has also been improved, and an issue relating to this camera and the capture counter resolved.

Newly-supported lenses include the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED, Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro, and two Zeiss Otus models, the 55mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4. A total of more than a hundred bugs are said to have been resolved, including an issue with capturing to Phase One's Enhanced Image Profile format, issues with naming tokens, and some stability problems.

More details can be found on the Phase One website.
