A brief look into the life and work of John Keatley, a Seattle-based photographer and director

 

 

In the past, we’ve shared the work of both John Keatley and Zack Arias. Today, we have for you a collaboration between the two to promote an upcoming class on Arias’ DEDPXL website that takes a look at the work, life and gear of Keatley, a Seattle-based advertising and celebrity photographer.

At five and a half minutes, the video is a trailer of sorts for Keatley’s class. In it, we get a behind-the-scenes look at some of Keatley’s recent assignments, take a peek into the challenges he’s faced along the way and the gear he uses to capture his signature images -- a topic he rarely talks about.
