One of the most difficult aspects of a professional digital photography workflow is figuring out a way to effectively present your final images to the end client. There is no shortage of options out there, but they’re often convoluted in their interface and unappealing aesthetically.

Looking to change that is Photoshoot.io, an online gallery tool that relies on the power of Dropbox to share, deliver and display your photographs in password protected galleries.

The premise behind Photoshoot.io is simple. After syncing the service with your Dropbox account, Photoshoot.io does the hard of setting up the backend of the platform. Specifically, it automatically places a folder named ‘Photoshoot.io’ inside your Dropbox/Apps folder.

After it’s been synced with your Dropbox account and created the folder, you’re then asked to choose your logo, colors, custom domain, input your social media links and insert a short bio — all of which is optional. Once you’ve completed this step, you’re ready to create your first gallery.

The process for creating a gallery is as simple as it gets. Just drag and drop a folder of your final images into the aforementioned ‘Photoshoot.io’ folder. This can be done through the browser or Finder/Windows Explorer if you have the Dropbox app installed.

That’s it.

Your gallery is then created and ready to be shared. To share the gallery, just head to the Photoshoot.io website, copy the link and share with your clients.

In addition to viewing the images, clients can also download all of the photos with a single click — a streamlined feature many other gallery platforms lack. No longer to you have to burn and deliver a DVD or load up a thumb drive with images and ship it to the client.

Photoshoot.io offers a free 5-day trial, which you can use to familiarize yourself with the service. After that, it’s $6/month to use. To start your trial, head on over to Photoshoot.io.
