Tenba has announced its new lineup of Packlite Travel Bags, deeming them ‘the world’s first packable, self-stowing camera bag.’

As the name suggests, Packlite Travel Bags are small camera bags that can be folded up and stored inside other bags until called upon. When needed, Packlite bags can then be taken out and used for smaller gear when you don’t want to lug around your larger bag and equipment.

There are four different sizes in the Packlite series, from the Packlite 7, designed for mirrorless camera systems, to the Packlite 13, which can hold a pro body DSLR and 70–200mm f/2.8 lens. To further improve protection for your gear, each Packlite bag can hold a corresponding Tenba BYOB padded camera insert. These are purchased separately though and do add to the size if you’re carrying them alongside the Packlite.

The bags are made of a silicone-coated nylon, which should repel water, but probably won’t hold up in a monsoon. All bags also feature an outside pocket to carry more gear or a water bottle.
