Canon celebrates 10th anniversary of 5D by interviewing its creators

This past May marked the 10th anniversary of Canon’s EOS 5D DSLR, arguably the most influential camera in the 21st century thus far. In honor of the decade celebration, Canon released a new video, wherein the team behind the original 5D speak about the development, design and construction behind the game-changing camera. 

Throughout the video, which comes in at just shy of three minutes long, we get an inside look at the process that metaphorically and physically molded the 5D into the camera that it inevitably became. Not only do we hear thoughts from its creators, but we see a number of wireframe sketches and models that were presumably used in the R&D stages of the 5D.
