‘One app. One tap. One magazine.’

That’s the slogan of Recently, a new iOS application and service that automatically curates and creates a magazine each month using 100 of your best smartphone photographs.

Rather than letting the best your smartphone photography getting lost amongst the hundreds, if not thousands, of photographs you take each month, Recently wants to bring to life and summarize the best of your iPhoneography.

The process is as simple and hands-off as it gets. After you’ve downloaded and opened the app, Recently will automatically curate 100 of your best photos from the past month. After you give the photos a proof and make any changes you tap ‘Upload’ to send your photos to Recently's servers.

Once uploaded, Recently prints a one-off magazine of your photographs on thick, acid-free Mohawk paper. At the beginning of the following month, your magazine arrives at your door.

Below are a few images of magazines printed by Recently:

Each magazine costs US$8.99, but can be brought down to US$7.99 if you invite a friend. All magazines are printed using wind power, for a little bonus incentive to go with Recently.

To find out more, head over to Recently’s website. You can download the app in the iOS App Store.
