I've just polished off the finishing touches on my second Field Test for the Olympus E-M10 II, this time with a full production sample. It was an enjoyable experience overall exploring just some of the depths this little "entry-level" camera is capable of!

I took a closer look at the 14-42mm EZ kit lens, and delved into HDR, 4k timelapse video, live composite mode (so much fun) and shot some Full HD video to check out the five-axis image stabilization. I also took a closer look at low light performance, and showed a side-by-side comparison against the RX100 IV at ISO 1600 (very interesting results).

All told there was much to love about the E-M10 II, and just a few little quibbles to mention as well.

14-42mm EZ "kit" lens
(more subject-background isolation than I would have expected)

ISO 1600 (very low noise)

Ultra-cool lens selection... (In this case, the 7-14mm f/2.8 M.Zuiko Pro)
