SmileSnap, the app that won’t take a photo until everyone in the frame smiles

Have you ever attempted to take a group photo just to realize that no matter how many shots you take at least one person wasn’t smiling? If so, a new app called SmileSnap might be just what you need.
Created by Rate of Climb, SmileSnap uses facial recognition to automatically snap a photo when every person in the frame has a smile on their face. No need to worry about the shutter button or trying to time it right to get the perfect photo.
Simply open the app, aim the camera where you want and SmileSnap handles the rest. Photos are automatically saved into iOS’ built-in photos app, so no need to hassle with yet another image library.
SmileSnap even has a built-in ‘sunglass mode’ that will adapt to snap a photo, even if someone is wearing dark-tinted sunglasses that obscure their eyes.
SmileSnap is available for US$.99 from the iOS App Store. You can keep up to date with the latest updates via SmileSnap’s Twitter account.
