One way to improve your photography skills is to take on a challenge. For 2016, photographer Dale Foshe has put together a 52 week photography challenge that will help any photographer improve their skills and expand their portfolio.
Dale has broken down the challenge into three categories: portrait, landscape, and artistic impression. Each week, the challenge will fall into one of these three categories and have a particular theme.
The challenges are designed to help you explore your artistic vision and try something that you might not have tried before. Take week 14's challenge, for example, "Landscape: Zoomed In" which calls for zooming in for landscape imagery rather than take wide angle images. Week 43's challenge is a portrait theme, "The Elderly," that will have you telling the story of an elderly person through a portrait, capturing "the lines of their life" in the process.
Check out the full breakdown of the weekly challenges below or view it on Dale Foshe's website here.
If you'd like to take part in this challenge and share your photos and progress with other photographers who are participating in the challenge, you can join a Facebook group for it here.
