Do you have a Canon 11-24mm f/4L lens and wish that there was a WonderPana FreeArc filter solution available just for you and your favorite ultra wide-angle lens? Well now there is!

Fotodiox Pro, the maker of numerous photography products including the Wonderpana FreeArc filter holder for ultra wide-angle lenses, has introduced the Wonderpana FreeArc XL, which is larger and specially-designed for the Canon 11-24mm f/4L USM lens.

The WonderPana FreeArc XL has an aircraft aluminum lens collar which allows photographers to attach 186mm filters. This larger FreeArc filter system has a bigger mounting system and custom filters to provide the same performance that users of the original FreeArc have come to appreciate.

In addition to large round filters, photographers can use the WP80 Filter Brackets to hold one or two square filters as well. Unsurprisingly, these square filters are quite large, measuring 200mm x 260mm and are available in 0.6 and 0.9 ND variations with both hard and soft edges.

The WonderPana FreeArc XL is available now for $229.95. You can help support our site by purchasing it through this link at Amazon. The filter holder is also available for purchase directly from Fotodiox.

If you would prefer to go the do-it-yourself route, you can actually make your own filter holder for ultra wide-angle lenses such as the Canon 11-24mm f/4L and the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G. This excellent guide by James Wallace at DIY Photography covers how to make your own filter holder for the Nikon 14-24mm lens for under $30 and a just bit of your time.
