For just $350, you can take your photography to the next level with the Pixelstick, a six-foot long stick covered in LEDs. PetaPixel calls this interesting photo gadget "an absolute must-buy for any serious photographer." That's quite a claim, so what's all the buzz about?
The Pixelstick isn't simply a stick with lights on it -- it's actually programmable and controllable. By using the attached controller, you can create specific images and words. The 73-inch Pixelstick has 200 RGB LEDs and is capable of producing over 16 million colors. It can be broken down into two much more manageable pieces and weighs only four pounds.
Check out PetaPixel's review to read their thoughts on Pixelstick, and how it performs out in the field. And for more details on how it works, you can also read our earlier coverage of the Pixelstick from back when it was in the Kickstarter stage.
With its various controls and its SD card slot, the possibilities provided by the Pixelstick are basically endless. If you're interested in trying one yourself, check out the short video below which covers how to use the Pixelstick.
