Pentaxians: Do you have a lust for full-frame? If so, we've got good news for you! As we work to wrap our review of Ricoh's first 35mm full-frame camera, the Pentax K-1, we've just added several new sections including our real-world field test, image quality analysis, and print quality analysis.
If you're not familiar with the Pentax K-1 -- or just haven't read our review yet -- you'll want to start off with our overview, technical info and our detailed coverage of the K-1's Pixel Shift Resolution mode. You'll also find more information on the PSR mode, including a test of its newly-added motion compensation feature, in our Pentax K-1 field test, accompanied by a raft of real-world gallery photos shot across the board from base to maximum sensitivity in both raw and JPEG formats.
And if you want to make direct comparisons against the competition, that's where our image quality and print quality analyses come in, as well as our carefully-measured performance figures. Still to come in the near future are pages covering image quality, noise reduction, optics, and of course our final conclusion. We don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say that we've really enjoyed shooting with the first full-frame Pentax DSLR, though, so if you've been waiting to make a purchase until we rendered our verdict, it might be time to head on over to our deals and prices page for the best Pentax K-1 deals (and a great way to help support our site at no cost to you!)
All of this and more can be found in our soon-to-be-concluded Pentax K-1 review. What are you waiting for? Check it out!
