Drones are not always the easiest nor the most user-friendly objects out there, but what if using one was as simple as holding it up and letting it go? The Hover Camera promises to be just that simple.

Announced back in April, the Zero Zero Robotics' drone combines a circuit board, artificial intelligence and camera inside a carbon fiber frame. The Hover Camera can capture 13 megapixel still images and 4K video. For stabilization, the team opted for electronic image stabilization rather than a traditional gimbal.

The "first truly autonomous camera" utilizes advanced artificial intelligence to remain easy to use. The idea is for a user to be able to unpack the Hover Camera and immediately understand how to use it. Using facial and body recognition, the Hover Camera is able to follow people around without needing to be manually controlled.

While we don't yet know how well the Hover Camera will work or what it's video and image quality will be, it's easy to see why people are excited about it. You can currently put your information on a waitlist here.

Pricing and availability information is not yet available. It'll be very interesting to see how this little product performs!
