Great gradients: Adding atmosphere to your image in a single step

 

 

Not everything in Photoshop is simple, but sometimes you can greatly improve an image in a single step. In a new video tutorial by photographer and retoucher Glyn Dewis we see how adding atmosphere to an image can be as quick and easy as only a single gradient layer.

After opening up the gradient layer palette, Dewis goes through how to adjust the gradient colors, angle and more. By adding color to an image, you can add a distinct emotion to an image that wouldn’t otherwise have been in the photo.
