The AirSelfie is a drone so small, the company is betting you'll give up your selfie stick and use it instead. Currently on Kickstarter - with under a month and fully backed - the AirSelfie weighs only 52 grams and is designed in such a way as to seamlessly integrate with your Android or iOS smartphone.

The drone itself is powered by four propellers, which are caged in safety guards. The camera is 5 megapixel, and also records video. The device uses a smartPhone app to control it, and has a range of 20 meters (around 66 feet) by Wi-Fi. It doesn't have a huge battery life - with a 240mAh battery, it has three minutes flying power per charge - but the case it comes with (which attaches to your phone) allows the AirSelfie to recharge when it's connected, drawing from a powerbank built into the case. A maximum of eight consecutive photos can be taken at one time, saving to a 4GB microSD card. The AirSelfie is expected to ship in March 2017, at a retail price of $249.

The product's launch has been wildly popular - just under €300,000 compared to a goal of €50,000, with still 26 days to go. If you're interested in getting your very own AirSelfie, you can become a backer at €224 (around $237).
