Broncolor offering photographers $24,000 in gear, discounts, exposure and more in Gen NEXT contest

 

 

If you are between 18 and 30 years old, you can win broncolor gear worth $24,000 in their Gen NEXT competition. You can submit up to three images falling within any genre of photography, such as sports, still life, portraits, etc. Submissions are open until March 7 at midnight Central European Time. Broncolor is not publishing any information on the judging process except that it will be done internally.

Winners will not simply receive broncolor gear, but they will also be subject to terms and conditions, which you can read in full here. Winners will become broncolor Gen NEXT ambassadors for two years, from May 2017 to May 2019. Being an ambassador means that you will have $24,000 of broncolor gear, which will remain property of broncolor until being transferred to the winners after the two-year program, a 20% discount on all broncolor products, free loan equipment for specific projects, free promotion through broncolor media channels and an online profile.

In addition to these benefits, broncolor ambassadors will also be required to write a blog entry every month for the first year and every two months in the second year, provide broncolor with 1-2 high res images per year for communication, commercial and advertising purposes, create behind-the-scenes videos with product placement, be active on social media, show up (expenses paid for by broncolor) to broncolor events for at least three days during the two-year contract period and more. You will essentially be working part-time for broncolor in exchange for the equipment and exposure. For photographers trying to get their footing in the industry, it could be a very good opportunity nonetheless.
