Want to get away? Capture and share an awesome action sports shot to win a free trip from Olympus

 

 

Olympus is sending one winning photographer and a guest to Whistler, British Columbia for the 2017 World Ski and Snowboard Festival for three days and tickets to the 2017 Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown event on April 13 in Whistler. In addition, the winner's photography will be shown during a slideshow presentation at intermission of the Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown event.

This contest is a social competition which can be entered on Facebook and Instagram. To enter, you need to post a photo to either social platform and use the hashtag "#CaptureTheAction." You can enter up to five images. There's a catch, however, the image must have been captured using an Olympus camera.

The winner will be selected based on creativity, subject matter and technical skill and the sole judge is Olympus Visionary and National Geographic photographer, Jay Dickman. Olympus is looking for the best action sports shot for this contest. After Dickman has selected the winner, they will be flown, all expenses paid, to Whistler from anywhere within the US or Canada and have their room and board and transportation covered by Olympus.
