$150 lighting kit for video plus a cool “bokeh wall” for product shots and still life

You may recall our post in February about an affordable video lighting kit. All that gear cost less than $500, which while certainly a great deal considering all you could get, might be a bit too expensive for some. No problem, as Caleb Pike from DSLR Video Shooter is back with a complete video light kit for only $150!
The kit includes a pair of lights, a battery kit, light stand kit, umbrella, umbrella stand mount and some extra diffusion. If you want to dip your toes in video and need lighting, it’ll be hard to get equipped for less money than this. Check out the products and how to use them in the video below.
Now for a quick change of pace. Maybe you’re shooting product shots, either stills or video, and you want a beautiful bokeh background. LSG Photo, who also has great tutorials on product photography in general, created a bokeh wall, which requires only a handful of items and some time. The results are awesome, check it out below!
