The Panasonic FZ2500 may look similar to its predecessor, the FZ1000, and uses the same sensor, but there is a lot new here. We have just wrapped up our Panasonic FZ2500 review, so read on to find out how the FZ2500 compares to its predecessor and what we thought of the new camera.
The 20MP 1"-type sensor found in the FZ2500 is a common sensor that is found in many cameras, including the FZ1000 and the Sony RX10 III, so it delivers similarly solid performance that we have come to expect. Image quality is very good, particularly at lower ISOs, but continues to impress even as you increase the ISO. One of the notable changes to the FZ2500 is its inclusion of a touchscreen; a new, higher-powered zoom lens; and a bevy of advanced video recording features.
