Behind the scenes with Sigma’s new pro zoom: See the new Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 in action

Late last week, preorders opened for Sigma’s new 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens, the latest version of the popular standard zoom lens, which has long proven to be a workhorse optic for many working pros and enthusiasts alike.
Sigma Canada has published a behind the scenes video of professional photographer Jess Baumung using the lens to photograph runners, which can be viewed below. Of the early hands-on, Sigma says, “We invited Jess Baumung, a Toronto-based running and music photographer, to test out an early sample of the latest Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG HSM | Art for a few hours and see what he could do. No big budgets or fancy post-processing, just one photographer, natural light and a few local Toronto runners in a real-world shoot.” For the still images below, Baumung used a Canon 1D X camera.
