Software company Macphun announced earlier this year that their software would start making its way to Windows computers this year. The team also announced that there would be a public beta for Windows users to try Macphun's Luminar photo editor this summer and that beta has now been released.
“We are thrilled to release our first PC product today and give photography enthusiasts around the world the first taste of our best-selling Mac product. By test-driving Luminar for Windows, beta testers can help shape our software and make the final release a perfect fit for everyone,” said Vice President of Macphun, Kevin La Rue. The free beta can be downloaded here.
As it's a beta and the full release of Macphun Luminar isn't until later this year, there are some features available for macOS users which aren't yet available on Windows, including workspaces, plug-in integration, object removal, noise reduction and more. The beta will be updated with new features as they are completed. However, the current Windows public beta does include many features, such as Luminar's new Accent AI Filter, an adaptive user interface, one-click presets, RAW file conversion, non-destructive workflow tools and much more.
