DJI is the biggest player in the drone market and it's no surprise that they offer a wide variety of drones. There is something for everyone in their lineup, but that also means that for many prospective purchasers, it can be hard to determine which drone is right for them. Fstoppers has written a nice guide covering four of DJI's most popular drones, the Spark, Mavic Pro, Phantom and Inspire. Which of these four quadcopters is the best for you?
Looking at five criteria, price, portability, image quality, flight performance and additional features (which includes things like an anti-collision system, swappable sensors and more), it's clear that there is a lot of differentiation between DJI's various models. Take the Spark, for example, which has a two-axis gimbal and has video quality that tops out at 1080/30p. It cannot capture RAW DNG images, but it is ready to fly for $500. On the other hand, the DJI Mavic Pro costs twice as much, but can capture RAW DNG files and records 4K/30p video. For many, the Mavic Pro is the ideal compromise between price and performance.
