Have you been hankering after the spectacular Fuji X-Pro2, but put off by its enthusiast-grade US$1,700 pricetag? If so, we have good news for you today! The Fuji X-E3 is here, and while its sleek, compact X-mount body carries a far more affordable pricetag, inside sits the heart and soul of the X-Pro2: An APS-C sized, 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III image sensor and an X-Processor Pro-branded image processor. Now's your chance to get your hands on an X-mount body with the excellent image quality we praised in last year's Fuji X-Pro2 review, and yet for a list price that's only half as much as its flagship sibling.

And that affordable pricetag is not all of this camera's story, either. The Fujifilm X-E3 sports a brand-new body that's even more svelte than those of the popular X-E1 and X-E2 which precede it, and debuts several important new features, including a new touch-screen user interface along with an eight-way joystick controller. Other key upgrades include a new autofocus algorithm which can track objects half the size (or moving at twice the speed) of earlier models, Bluetooth LE radio for better wireless connectivity, and ultra-high definition 4K video capture.

No question about it: The Fujifilm X-E3 is going to draw a lot of interest from X-Trans sensor fans, especially given its body-only pricetag of just US$900 or thereabouts. If you're among their number, you'll want to hop on over to our just-published Fuji X-E3 preview now for the full story!
