We hope you all had a pleasant weekend and for those of you were out taking photos, we hope the conditions were favorable! In today's edition of Shutter Release, our regular roundup feature here at Imaging Resource, we will be looking at six articles and videos covering a wide range of topics. We start with an article and a video showing portraiture behind the scenes, then look at 10 tips for landscape photography before moving to a pair of Photoshop tutorial videos and finish up with an interesting teaser video from Yashica. We've got a lot of ground to cover, so let's get started.

Photographer Dmitry Bocharov wrote an excellent overview of some outdoor portraiture he did. He used a Profoto B1 flash with an OCF Beauty Dish and a blue gel to overpower and complement the sun. His article has a lighting breakdown, camera settings and a lot of sample shots. It's an interesting look at the process along with some excellent photos.

While shooting a campaign for the 50th anniversary for one of Dickies' signature pants, photographer George Muncey (http://georgemuncey.com) broke out his new 8 x 10 large format camera to shoot the campaign. It's neat to see a large format camera in use, especially for a modern commercial shoot.
