Sony Announcements from New York with the A7R Mark III and 24-105mm f/4 OSS

In the wee small hours of last night, Sony announced its new Sony A7R III mirrorless camera body, as well as a new compact, lightweight standard zoom lens, the FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS. The company also revealed that it's developing a G Master-branded 400mm f/2.8 optic which should be arriving next summer.
Interestingly, the timing of all of this news was first set to coincide with an event in China, showing the growing importance of that market to Sony, globally speaking. But of course, the company also wants a big splash in other markets, and hence it is also holding a press conference launching these products in New York some 7.5 hours later, at 10:00AM Eastern time.
You can, of course, find details on the new camera in our existing coverage from 2:30AM -- our Sony A7R III preview is here, and we've covered the lens launch in a separate news article -- but if you want to see the live stream itself and get the word direct from Sony USA, you can follow along in the video embedded below.
If you've arrived at this news article after the live stream reaches its conclusion, fear not. There's usually a brief delay for processing, but then Sony's live streams typically appear in archived form for later viewing or reviewing. Just check back with this article occasionally and you'll be able to view the archived stream just as soon as it's available.
