Photographer and Hasselblad's Chief of Strategy, Ming Thein, recently travelled to Iceland for a week with Hasselblad's X1D Field Kit. Thein had never been to Iceland before, but he was able to see a lot of the Nordic island nation and capture some beautiful imagery with the medium format mirrorless Hasselblad X1D camera.

"In short, it's a paradise for photographers," Thein says of Iceland. A medium format sensor does a great job of doing the country's beautiful scenery justice as well. In the video below, we get to see Ming Thein at work in Iceland with the Hasselblad X1D and see a variety of very nice images.

The Hasselblad X1D Field Kit, which is available for US$17,495 includes the Hasselblad X1D camera, XCD 30mm f/3.5, XCD 45mm f/3.5 and XCD 90mm f/3.2 lenses along with a pair of rechargeable batteries. Plus, it comes in its own dedicated Pelican Case and with a cleaning kit. It's quite the capable photographic kit. Of course, it should be for nearly $20,000.
