As promised, Skylum/Macphun have continued to regularly update their new Luminar 2018 photo editing software. Ahead of 2018's massive digital asset management feature update, Luminar 2018 has received extensive updates to its Mac and Windows versions alongside new camera support.

Both the Mac and Windows versions have received performance updates, LUT mapping, better masking control and additional export options. The Windows version, which is still catching up with the Mac version in terms of features, has new native file save support and clone and stamp tools in addition to the features listed above. The Mac version has RAW image improvements, improved workflow with other applications and enhanced plugin support for Topaz plugins.
