Using a blurred foreground element to create depth in wildlife photography

If you enjoyed last week's video with Morten Hilmer in which he photographed mountain hares in the Scottish Highlands, then you'll be glad to find that he has uploaded a second behind-the-scenes video.
The weather is quite different this time around and Hilmer has shifted his focus toward showing us how to photograph wildlife by using a blurry foreground element in the bottom area of your image. Like last time, Hilmer is shooting primarily with a Nikon D5 and 200-500mm f/5.6E lens.
