Professional photographer and educator David Bergman has an ongoing video series for Adorama TV, "Two Minute Tips," in which he shares great tips and tricks for many photography-related topics in roughly two minutes - the title doesn't pull any punches.

In the latest episode, seen below, Bergman discusses lens hoods. Lens hoods are something we often take for granted. Most lenses come with one, they usually work fine and aren't very noticeable, but when a lens hood is bad or improperly used, they become very evident.
