Aimed at creative professionals, Wacom has announced the new 24-inch Cintiq Pro pen display. This third addition to the Cintiq Pro lineup, joining 13- and 16-inch models, will be arriving this spring.

Much of the Cintiq Pro's form is the display, which is 4K and displays 98% of the Adobe RGB spectrum. The display offers Pro Pen 2 technology, which has 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and nearly zero latency. Of the new 24-inch offering, Faik Karaoglu, Executive Vice President of the Creative Business Unit at Wacom says, "We know that professional artists and designers are facing an increasingly vast array of computing and display demands as they embrace emerging technologies like augmented and virtual reality, and 3D, where one size doesn't fit all. Everyone has their own way of working, and we are excited to offer larger sized digital canvases with flexibility that provides more pen space for those who need it to create."

The Cintiq Pro 24 was announced alongside the Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine, which is a Windows 10 computing module that features Nvidia's Quadro P3200 graphics card. The module slides into the back of the Pro 24 and supports intensive applications such as 3D, animation, augmented and virtual reality.

The Cintiq Pro 24 pen version will be available with prices ranging from $1,999 to $2,499 in March. The Pen & Touch version will be available in May 2018. Further, a 32-inch model will be available later this year after unexpected supply chain issues are resolved.
