Four keys to telling a story through your portraiture with Sony Artisan Me Ra Koh

 

 

Being able to tell a story through your photography is very important and something that can be difficult to achieve. Professional photographer and Sony Artisan Me Ra Koh is at WPPI with Sony and gave a presentation about the four keys to storytelling portraits.

The first key is "light." We know of the importance of light in photography, of course, but have you considered light to be a character in your image before? Koh likes utilizing backlight to help tell her story and add drama images. Backlight "accentuates emotion," she says.
