A lone tree makes for a lovely composition in Zion

 

 

Photographer Ben Horne is in Zion for his second trip over the last few months. After visiting in the autumn, he has returned this winter and found that while some things are different, others have stayed the same. There is still some autumn color remaining, for example.

Horne is visiting Zion's East Side and the main canyon to scout for subjects and while there are familiar aspects he's noticed before, a lone tree caught his eye this time despite him having passed by there on many occasions.
