Jesús Ramirez with the Photoshop Training Channel has a new video to help you make your colors pop using Photoshop. In the video below, he covers five methods and techniques you can use to bring the most out of your color photographs inside of Adobe Photoshop. The techniques vary from incredibly simple to slightly more complex, but they are all covered in detail below so anyone can follow along and pick up a new trick or two.
On the simpler side of things, you can use hue/saturation and vibrance adjustments in Photoshop through adjustment layers or via the Camera Raw Filter. This is very straightforward, but there are ways to make this process more efficient. What's important to keep in mind when making any color adjustment is to make sure you don't overdo it. It's easy to add too much saturation to an image, which may look good at the time, but can give an overly-processed look to your image. Getting a bit more complicated, Ramirez also discusses using complementary colors to add specific color adjustments to your image.
