We all know the importance of light in photography. When specifically doing landscape photography, we often seek rich, dynamic light, be it at sunrise or sunset. What about when the clouds are dense and the light is flat? That's bad, right? It doesn't have to be.
Photographer Nigel Danson has made a new video showing you to embrace flat light and improve your photography. The video was captured during a photography trip in Snowdonia in Wales he did with fellow photographer James Popsys.
