Cameras and lenses are awesome, and of course must-have elements of any great photography kit, but sometimes accessories are what make or break a shooting adventure. In the video below, nature and wildlife photographer Steve Perry shares eight of his favorite accessories for nature photography.
Fortunately, a useful accessory doesn't have to break the bank. Of the eight accessories below, only one will set you back much more than $25. His first accessory are lens wipes. These are pre-moistened disposable wipes and you can get them from well-known companies including Nikon and Zeiss. They're very affordable as well, you can get a 60-pack of Zeiss lens wipes for $5.69. Another useful accessory is a cheap way to support your lens on the frame of your car door. If you're driving around looking for subjects, sometimes all you need to do is roll down your window to get an awesome shot of an interesting critter. There are purpose-built accessories for this, but Perry recommends heading to your local home improvement store and getting a short piece of foam pipe insulation. For the rest of his recommended accessories, check out the full video below. You can also click here for links to the mentioned products.
