Jesús Ramirez of the Photoshop Training Channel doesn't exclusively focus on Adobe Photoshop, he also offers tutorial videos for Adobe Lightroom. In his latest video, seen below, he shares five Lightroom tricks and tips you may not have known.
The first tip involves the graduated filter. When you use the graduated filter, you can move sliders to adjust a selected area of the image, such as darkening the sky or brightening the foreground. When using this adjustment, it is not very precise by default. Suppose there is something in front of the sky, such as a tree or building, that you don't want to adjust in the same way as the sky. You can actually mask the graduated filter, as Jesús shows below.
Another neat tip is being able to change the color of anything in Lightroom. The first thing you need to do is select the adjustment brush. Once selected, you need to ensure all your sliders are set to zero. When the sliders are set to zero, you can start painting over the area in the image where you want to change the color. See this method in action below, or you can view a full-length tutorial Ramirez did on this topic by clicking here. For the other three great Lightroom tips, see below.
