How to make interesting images on boring days

Landscape photographers rely on nature to provide them with good lighting conditions. No matter how much time you put into it, you will always be at the mercy of weather. However, there are things you can do when life hands you lemons to make photographic lemonade. Photographer Adam Karnacz shows us a couple options in the video below.
The harsh light that robs a scene of its color can also produce dramatic shadows and interesting textures. Rather than worry about the color, or lack thereof, you can look for black and white photography possibilities. To add another twist to the scene, you can also utilize neutral density filters to allow for long exposure images. What might look a bit boring to the eyes could prove quite interesting when shot using a long exposure, especially on a windy day, as the clouds will be moving quite a lot.
Understandably, as photographers we don't like bland, gray days with boring, flat light. However, as Karnacz has shown us, there are still nice images to be made when the conditions aren't dramatic and exciting.
