Having already been made available for Canon EF, Rokinon has announced that their AF 14mm f/2.8 lens will be available this September for Nikon F mount. The AF 14mm f/2.8 is Rokinon's eighth autofocus lens in total but is their first AF lens ever for Nikon. The full-frame lens is designed for high-resolution cameras and features numerous optical technologies.

Taking a closer look at the wide-angle lens, it features 15 Ultra Multi Coated lens elements across 10 groups. There are two aspherical elements, one extra-low dispersion element and four high refractive index elements. The lens has been designed to minimize aberrations and control distortion in addition to delivering sharp images. The lens weighs 16.7 ounces (474 grams) and has a total length, including the built-in petal-shaped lens hood, of 3.67 inches (93.1 millimeters). The lens is built using an aluminum alloy housing and is said to offer quiet and fast autofocus. The lens has weather sealing as well.
