In the 135th episode of Adorama’s Two Minute Tips, seen below, photographer David Bergman shows us how to make multiple flashes fire at the same time.

One of the biggest jumps you can make in the quality of your portrait and still life photography is to add an off-camera flash. To take things even further and add a more professional look to your work, adding a second, third or perhaps even fourth off-camera flash can work wonders. However, it can be daunting, especially for beginners, to set up one off-camera flash, let alone multiple flashes. Fortunately, many modern cameras and speedlights come equipped with features that can help you take full advantage of your lights. In the video below, Bergman shows us how to set up multiple flashes and have them fire simultaneously. He uses Canon Speedlites and accessories, but the process is similar for other brands.
