Learning Adobe Lightroom CC: Comparing Lightroom CC’s features against Lightroom Classic

Last year, Adobe introduced a new desktop photo editor, Lightroom CC, which is a simpler, more streamlined version of Lightroom. The original Lightroom has since been rebranded as Lightroom Classic CC. Compared to Lightroom Classic CC, Lightroom CC launched with pared-down features, although Adobe has been continually updating the software and adding more functionality. Nonetheless, Lightroom CC remains a bit less in-depth than Lightroom Classic CC, although for some users, Lightroom CC will feel easier to use and be a more intuitive editing experience, especially if you are familiar with Lightroom Mobile. Further, Lightroom CC has impressive cloud functionality, which can prove advantageous within certain workflows.
Photographer and educator Anthony Morganti has launched a new video series, “Learn Lightroom CC,” and the first episode can be viewed below. In the first episode, Morganti discusses the differences between Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic CC and then discusses the features of Lightroom CC.
