6 DIY photography gifts you can make at home this holiday season

 

 

The holiday season is in full swing and if you haven’t finished your gift shopping, you’re quickly running out of time. Fortunately, the folks over at COOPH have put together a DIY photography gift guide, featuring six gift ideas you can make at home for fellow photographers or for friends and family using your own photos.

One of the DIY gift ideas involves turning an old or broken lens into a vase, another involves printing out photos and creating a custom wine glass. Something else you can make for yourself or for family and friends is a custom ornament. To do this, you’ll need safety gloves, pliers, printed photos and some lightbulbs. Remove the bottom part of the lightbulb and the internal components. After safely smoothing out any sharp edges and disposing of any broken glass, you then fold a photo and place it inside the bulb. Using chopsticks or something similar, unfurl the photo inside the bulb. After performing some finishing touches, the ornament is ready to hang. For more DIY gift ideas, check out the video below.
